Laressia Hana'ai

Healer, Magitek Engineer, Scholar

Quiet, but earnest, this Miqo'te can be found working in either her workshop, which is located in a backstreet in Ishgard, or found working at the airship yard as head Mechanic and Engineer for House Swaan. She'd prefer her nickname Lars, and will happily info dump on anything magic or magitek related.

Laressia is a bit on the short side. about 5'0" or so, though she doesn't keep track. Her tail is a fluffy tipped one, and at times one could swear it was more vulpine than feline. Same goes for her ears.
She is always wearing glasses and if bare arms are visible, scars are noticeable ranging in size, depth and jaggedness.

Lars has been seen frequenting the estate of one Lord Nivaar Swann. Rumor has it she has become his head Mechanic and has not only redesigned the original house airship, but is also building a second one.

Word of Mouth

Word has spread through Ishgard about this engineer who takes commissions. Her work is very good while not being overly priced, and she's been known to work out price via trade of services (I.E. make her tools, alchemy supplies etc) if gil is an issue. Newest rumors speak of a huge airship commission asked of her by the Apocrypha auction house

Daughter of a Sharlayan

Lars' mom was a well known Sharlayan scholar who studied the magic and technology cultures of Allag, Ampdapor, and Mhachi. It's quite possible if you have seen Hikara Hana'ai's picture, you will recognize Lars, as she looks very much like her mother.

Strange Aether

For those with Aethersight or Aethersense, her aether is aspected towards water and ice. Though she looks like a typical 22 year old healer, the density and strength of her Aether don't match the age. It feels of someone much older, and she as isn't as she appears to be.
